  Management and everyone else is worried about talking and gossiping than actually doing a job. I tried three different occasions to get a shake. First visit, 10 min in drive thru for one shake. Second, dine in at the "bar" table, no one greeted me for 5 min. Manager yells in the back about having a table ready. Waiter Looked at me then saw some people walk in they knew and passed me up. Third, 20 min in the drive-thru for a shake. I try not to judge but three visits like this does it in. Buh bye!!

  Absolutely the worst service I have ever had. First time I went They gave me my drink and that ws it. Even when I asked for a refill the waiter told me he was busy and never came back. I watched my family's milk shakes sit on the counter ten minutes before they fnalky brought them and my table was dirty. Still I tried it one more time a week later and we sat and sat and sat 40 min then they come out and say they forgot our food laughing like it was a big ass joke. And the table they sat me at had ketchup on the seat which I didn't notice till my white paints had a big ketchup stain on the butt. Told them and they said sorry and walked off. Never ever going back

  Good food, service sucks. Been here numerous times only because it's cheap and it's right next to school.
  
  One time when I came here, it took 30 minutes for them to try to figure out why their card reader wasn't reading my card and their manager didn't know either. Then it took about 20 minutes to get my order after I paid. Inside always smells like rotting eggs. Place is just understaffed with hardly any one working, hence why food takes a long time to get.
  
  Whoever the district manager for Steak 'n Shake is, seriously needs to consider firing the manager here because the experience is horrible. It's funny because I'm currently writing this review as I wait in drive through and I finally moved up one spot as soon as I finished writing this review... It took me a while to write this review because I also got distracted.
